Jazz is a broad title that covers many forms of the most up to date dancing - from pop video style moves, to lyrical, street, contemporary, and commercial dancing.

Jazz dancing is the most up to date form of dancing there is and is always done to the latest music. It can be fast, or slow, powerful or sensitive. It does not follow a set series of steps every lesson. Although repetition is important for technical improvement, versatility is a must to keep a Jazz dancer on his or her toes.

A Jazz dance class contains influences incorporated from Modern Jazz, Hip-Hop, Street Jazz and Broadway styles. The class develops flexibility, rhythm, extension, balance, speed and strong movement in dancers, preparing them for a lifetime of dancing.
